As much as I love big tall boots for the cooler months, when the weather starts to turn into the milder days of spring, I am more than ready to embrace the lighter side of shoes. Here are eleven beautiful, wearable, and affordable options that I’m seriously eyeing for the warmer months.
PEEP TOE BLOCK HEEL BOOTIE
Let’s start off with a pair I already own and love: the Vince Camuto Karinta Block Heel Bootie. Surprisingly sturdy and supportive for a heel, I love these western-inspired heels with a flowy dress or fringed shorts. Often on sale, these booties can easily be yours for under $90.
However, if you are looking for an even more amazing deal, I found these nearly identical lookalikes at Target: Universal Thread Edwina Boots.
BACKLESS SLIP ON MULES
If there ever was a trend on the horizon, it’s backless shoes, especially mules. I love these inexpensive Whisper Woven Backless Slip On Mules from Target’s new and super on-trend brand, Universal Thread. The mules come in two additional color options of black and multi.
For a more polished design, look to the slip on loafer mules from Nordstrom’s BP line. The Maddy Mule, as they are called, are available in a decent selection of colors for just under $70. Love the look but not the price tag? H&M has a Slip On Loafer mule for $25 in four color options including a floral!
CUT OUT LOAFERS
Another win from Target’s Universal Thread line, these adorable Wenda Cut Out Booties are practical for both work and play, and the cut out detailing adds just enough interest to the minimalist design.
ESPADRILLE SLIDES
While I love the look of espadrille wedges, these slides are the ideal laid-back alternative to teetering around in platforms. This pair from Mia, called the Kensi Suede Espadrille Slide, are even more beautiful with that bow detail. While the blush color here is what you should be looking for in accessories this year (seriously), they also come in nude and black.
I’m also all about these navy Ritsy Bow Slides from J/Slides. If you can afford to pay a bit more, these are utterly adorable and look to be very well made.
EMBELLISHED SLIP ON SNEAKERS
When comfort met fashion, they fell madly in love and these adorable bow-clad slip on sneakers were the resulting offspring. This pair of Alloy Slip On Sneakers from Target is a super affordable option, but a few others I am looking at are the Mika Slip-On Sneakers from Halogen and these adorable Converse Canvas Knot Sneakers.
What spring shoes are you most looking forward to sporting this year? As a mom of one with another on the way, I’m loving the slip on trend, which will be perfect in a month or two when I can’t reach my feet anymore!
