Where I live, it’s hard to find organic foods at our local grocery stores. Or at least it was. Over the past few years, I’ve noticed more and more organic products being stocked at my local Aldi store.
Admittedly, I’m a recent Aldi convert but I’ve quickly come to realize that every single time I shop there, I am in and out much faster than other grocers and my bill is somehow half of what if would’ve been elsewhere.
How is this even possible? I don’t even have to strategize over the best purchases or navigate throngs of meanderers in the bread aisle. All I can say is, this is the only place you will find me on that pesky emergency run, two days before Christmas (lessons learned).
So, the fact that Aldi is now upping their organic and clean food game has made me an even bigger fan. I’m not terribly afraid of eating conventional foods, but I do try to support the organic market whenever possible, especially for things like grassfed beef.
Since you’re here, I thought I would take you on a little tour of some of the many organic options Aldi now carries. The following pictures were shamelessly taken with my cell phone in the aisles of my local store. I try to include the price sign in each, which is why they are all taken from a ways back.
Most of these items are stuff I buy on the reg, including grassfed ground beef, milk, almond milk, Kerry Gold butter (not organic, but might as well be), eggs, fruit snacks, soups (msg free!), apple cider vinegar, coconut oil, olive oil, spinach, apples, bananas, carrots, basically any produce, and frozen fruits. And those are just a smattering of all the organics they have to offer!
Without further ado, let me present to you my pictorial rundown.
