This Korean Ground Beef Dinner is everything a weeknight dinner should be. Delicious salty-sweet-spicy flavors, ridiculously easy to make, and super cheap. And, it’s ready in 15 minutes.
But first, let me tell you a little secret about my family.
Ground beef is our chicken. There, I said it. We are beef eaters. Particularly ground beef. If given the choice, I’m pretty sure my husband would pick ground beef over steak. Shhh!! Not always, just most of the time! He doesn’t like fussy foods, and as the only cook in our house, I’m totally on board with that.
Seriously though, the way most families gather around skinless, boneless white meat chicken, is not how it goes down in our house. We like dark meat and fat (Gimme all the calories! Right? Right.).
So anyway, back to the un-fussy foods. This dish is all of that and more (so much more!). It takes about 15 minutes start to finish, and if you play your cards right and start cooking some rice and steaming your broccoli just before you make this dish, your whole meal is ready so fast your hangry family won’t even get the chance to complain of starvation.
Oh, and this Korean Beef is delicious (and cheap!), hitting all of the good feels in your mouth: salty, sweet, and just a bit spicy. Try it and you’ll see.
