My superpower is selecting comfortably stylish footwear. It’s a gift and a curse though. On one hand, my feet always look great and I’m able to walk great distances if need be. On the other hand…wait, is there another hand? Oh, yeah, yeah, yeah. On the other hand, shoes do cost money.
Not dees shoes though. Well, hardly any money really. I mean three of my seasonal picks are from Target, so….
Let’s jump right into it.
MIA ABBA CLOGS
Clogs are the Scandinavian secret to happiness. They give you an extra inch or two where you need it most and somehow manage to be curiously comfortable while doing so. Even more comfortable than flats. See how curious that is. What’s more, they are cute as a button, especially paired with a floral maxi dress.
TURN BACK PRIME T-STRAP FLAT
I do love a good pointed toe flat, as you are about to see. This pretty pink pair from ModCloth is right up my alley with a sweet t-strap to keep my feet locked in for the ride. This evergreen shoe from their namesake collection is one of their most popular pairs and is available in a variety of colors, textures, and patterns. I went with Rose.
SUEDED LOW BLOCK HEELS
These lovely neutral sandals from Old Navy feature a low block heel to give you just enough lift to elevate your look without making it hard to get around. The laces get wrapped around your ankles several times before getting tied and feature fun pompoms at the tips.
JAYME STRIPE BOW BALLET FLATS
Target has been hitting home run after home run with their shoes this year. These adorable striped flats from their A New Day line feature pointed toes and a swoon-worthy bow.
WENDA CUT OUT BOOTIE
The swoopy sides make these faux leather ankle booties extra special and are sure to garner compliments. They are also perfectly comfortable and come in a handful of colors including white and black, in addition to this goes-with-anything toffee color.
VIOLET WOVEN BACKLESS MULES
The more graceful cousin of flipflops, slip-ons are just as easy to slide on and off, but they come off looking so much more chic. This light tan woven pair lends interesting texture to your outfit too.
DEXY SANDALS
These lovely block heels are comfortable and the cutout detailing looks great with jeans, dressier slacks, and swishy dresses. They also come in a range of nice colors. For once I had trouble deciding which color to go with.
Shoes are something that constantly need to be replenished in my wardrobe, because I quite literally wear them to death (probably all that comfortable walking I do in them). Toes get busted, straps fall off, and soles come unglued. I hate to see a good shoe go, but I find peace in knowing that another Spring shoe haul is just around the bend.
