Have you ever come across a store so amazing that you pause, teary-eyed, and think where have you been my whole life? That joyous moment when you realize you will never again have to put in effort to find the things that capture the essence of you. Well, I had that moving experience when I first discovered Modcloth.
If I were to describe Modcloth it would go something like this: Anthropologie meets The Gap. All of the vintage-inspired, whimsy, and charm of my beloved Anthropologie but at the more affordable, throw-it-on-and-go ease of The Gap. In one word it might be afford-adorable.
These dresses are some of my favorite finds on Modcloth recently and really nail that effortlessly feminine style I adore. Nothing too fussy here. Just simple, pretty, and unbelievably comfortable. Another plus for Modcloth is that many of their garments are made in the USA and available in a admirable selection of sizes, ranging from XXS to 4X.
Modcloth’s sizes seem to run pretty consistent from item to item, but they do offer the opportunity for reviewers to list their measurements to easily see if something is running small or large. So far, I have consistently been a medium in the items I’ve bought from Modcloth, which I think is pretty much true to size for my size 6 frame.
Modcloth is super generous with their sales as well and they run weekly flash sales every Friday on featured items. In addition, you receive a hefty 20% off your first purchase! Modcloth, I am hooked.
