Then spread the mix over the chicken and pop it in the oven for about 45 minutes or until the internal temperature (taken with a kitchen thermometer) reaches 165 degrees when inserted in the center of the chicken thigh.

Sweet Onion Teriyaki Chicken is an easy weeknight dinner featuring chicken thighs, crispy onions, teriyaki sauce, and apricot jam for a curiously addicting meal your family will ask for again and again.
Ingredients
- 4 bone-in, skin-on chicken thighs
- 1 packet onion soup mix
- 3 heaping tablespoons apricot jam
- 4 tablespoons Teriyaki sauce
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
- Place chicken thighs in an 8” x 8” baking dish and set aside.
- In a small bowl, mix together onion soup mix and apricot jam. Slowly pour in teriyaki sauce, stirring well to combine. Add enough Teriyaki sauce so that you have marinade-like consistency.
- Spoon the sauce over the chicken thighs, covering it completely then bake for 1 hour until the sauce has caramelized lightly and chicken is cooked thoroughly.
- Serve with rice or noodles.
