This magical three-ingredient, no-churn Homemade Vanilla Ice Cream comes together in just minutes and freezes like a dream for a dead-on impression of rich, creamy vanilla ice cream, sans machine.
If you’re looking for a treat that will delight and impress adults and kids alike, look no further than this crowd-pleasing no-churn vanilla ice cream. It only requires three simple ingredients-heavy whipping cream, vanilla extract, and my pantry all-star: sweetened condensed milk.
After whipping the cream to stiff peaks, you fold it into a heavenly vanilla and condensed milk mixture and then freeze it for about 4 hours. What results is cool and creamy with the perfect ice cream texture and a sweet vanilla flavor.
This extraordinarily easy base recipe can be pared down to just the cream and condensed milk for a sweet cream flavor, or built up with your choice of add-ins. Try fruits like pureed strawberries or peaches. Or go the decadent route with crumbled cookies and caramel swirled in. Top it with your favorite sauces, nuts, and sprinkles for a frozen festival of yum, right in your bowl.
This is a fun activity for kids to help with too. Have them mix together the vanilla and sweetened condensed milk and then help fold in the whipped cream. A few hours later, do a big reveal when the ice cream is frozen, with a Sundae Bar set-up all laid out.
Let’s Make Easy Homemade Vanilla Ice Cream
I highly recommend getting creative with this recipe, swapping out the vanilla for peppermint, lemon, or maple flavoring, tossing in some interesting additions like mini chocolate chips, graham crackers, candy, or whatever else you have lying around.
